Hello friends. So often I stumble upon an awesome website, and almost immediately I have the urge to share it with others like a newly discovered pub where everyone can hang out. Here I decide to compile some links and sites which consist of things that are interesting and inspiring. Because it's not easy for hidden gems to survive amongst vast filthy mass that we call the Internet, remember sharing is caring so please puff puff pass. So shut the hell up and enjoy. x.
[Music]
A friend by the name of Scottie takes pride in drive around without a car stereo, which ironically drives me to the fucking wall. If you are like me, you can't live without music, period. I can't comprehend how the auditory stimulation such as symphony of sounds can possibly be unappreciated. It's like what the fuck? Why not take a break from talking and just enjoy a moment of silence in your head? Let the music do the talking.
On most days, I just plop a few key words into Stereo Mood and let the computer generate a list of tunes which fits the mood, usually before I dig into any kind of work. This makes music selection quite convenient and enjoyable, it's perfect for background study music.
Whenever I'm in an intense state and my mind wants a good stretch, Ms7Advocate's Playlist is my playground. This site lets you search and find any songs and throw them together into a playlist at one click. You can even search by other people's collective playlist so you can discover many new artists. I legit shut off my MySpace page after this jump off. Nowadays MySpace is just trash, which is exactly where Facebook heading, double yikes. Anyhow, this site super ease to navigate, so there's no excuse to not get your groove on.
There is no doubt that I am riding a mixtape phase. Being in London might have been an influence factor, since Dubstep, House and Funk are smashing the U.K. scenes. To be precise, the Daily Street has some killer mixtapes in stock, (BTW I absolutely love this blog, more on it later) I dare you to not tap your feet and dance to any one of those.
For you true hip-hop heads: I couldn't believe my luck when I found these freebie goodies like Whoa! OK, there are some talentless wannabe gangster filth here but on the real, they've got a full house of mixtapes that are rare to find even at a smoke shop. You can listen to any of the tapes or download them for later. Yeah they are FREE-Ninety-Nine, you are welcome. While you're at it, make sure you check out Andre3000-"Alter Ego". Old school yup... I know I know! Outkast all day, er'day baby.
More to come...... I promise. <3
